On November 1, 2022, we started a project funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Program. Mediator Program Multicultural Mediation is the first project of its kind in Poland! 🔝🔝🔝 🇵🇱🇮🇪🇪🇺
Mediation allows for amicable resolution of conflicts. It is a voluntary and confidential process of reaching an agreement between parties involved in a dispute, conducted in the presence of an impartial mediator. Considering the situation in the world, including the conflict in Ukraine, we can expect a significant increase in the demand for qualified MULTICULTURAL MEDIATORS in the coming years, who work based on the transformative model of mediation (holistic approach).
In Poland and in many EU countries, this type of mediation is underdeveloped.
Adapting the competencies of mediators to the rapidly changing world and preparing tools for work on a European scale is a necessity today.
The project supports the flexible adaptation of the mediator education market, preparing them for the current needs of societies. The partnership between the Social Development and Prevention Foundation “DIALOG” (hereinafter: FRSP) and the Irish Autpost Limited conducted a current survey among international mediators in September 2021 and decided to engage in this initiative based on the identified need.
The project will directly implement selected priorities (horizontal and sectoral).
Thanks to the goals and results described below, it will ensure better quality of vocational education for mediators (new work tools, training programs).
Thanks to the innovative solutions of Irish AUTPOST in multicultural mediations, the project will introduce innovations in the education and vocational training of mediators in Europe.
